St Francis Links

St Francis Links Golf course is such a special course and I would like to share each and every hole with you all. The feature hole today is the 1st hole, called Milkwood. It is the featured tree on the course and also a protected tree.

Par 4, 376m, Stroke 5

This relatively short par 4 turns left and plays uphill  past the blowout bunker on the left. There are plenty room left and right and driver might not be necessary off the Tee. Make sure you account for the uphill and prevailing wind when playing to the green.

Out of experience you want to hit your second shot to 1 foot from the flag because this is probably the most difficult green on the course...."a nice and friendly welcome to St Francis Links of a opening hole!"
