Classic old parkland course, King David Golf Club

King David Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole parkland course conveniently close to the airport, main access roads, northern and southern suburbs and even the CBD. The course was designed by Bob Grimsdel and opened in 1956 and is often remembered for the famous exhibition match between the legendary Gary Player and Lee Trevino.

Golfers will find the course interesting, well designed and beautifully conditioned. Also remember to bring your straight tee shots!! Memorable holes include the 2nd, a pretty par 3 played between the trees. The 8th is a classic, rolling par 5 requiring an accurate approach with water on the left. The 12th is a striking par 3 that requires a long, accurate iron to a green protected by bunkers, and the 18th is a treacherous par 4, played toward Table Mountain and to a green that is protected by water and bunkers.
