Jeff Clause and the St Francis Links team came up with a fantastic idea to grow the game of golf but also to speed it up!

I want to GROW the Great Game of Golf!
With Charl and Justin’s help, I have built a par-three course. It cost next to nothing to build because I am using our existing greens and surrounds for targets with natural tees that range from 70m to 130m – a course length that everyone can play. The tees are not perfect or perfectly flat because they are in place just off the closely mown (fairways) of our great course! That’s OK because I built these tees to help you experience the “scoring shots” from all directions and lies. And…after 1000 scorecards are finished we can move the tees to another location and have another Great Course in a Great Course!
Why?
• Everyone can improve the short game
• New golfers can learn from a shorter distance

• The various lengths will also be effected by the “conditions” and differing pin positions to ensure a greater variety of shots
• First-timers to St Francis can see the entire course in a short space of time
• OH, yes, you can all play this great course in a short space of time!!
We will enter scores for the new course and establish new handicaps. We will have a separate Hole-in-ONE board…imagine having 18 goes at an ace! We’ll have early and late times available just for Par-3 players. We will even have Par-3 tournament and Championships! By the way, we are launching the ULTIMATE Par-3 course next Friday, the 6th of June!
