Final Day, SA OPEN

The 100th SA OPEN provided us with drama, weather conditions and fantastic golf by Major winners. Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Louis Oosthuizen battled it out over the last 17 holes but Ernie was too good in the end.

Retief Goosen made a late charge with 3 birdies, but a missed eagle opportunity on the last finished his chances. Louis Oosthuizen carded a 66, but it could easily have been a 62 as his putter was a bit cold and missed plenty birdies.

The week belonged to Ernie Els, 3 time major champion. It was his 5th SA Open victory and this win made the year a GREAT one for him.
